Who are we?
The Glencore Group was founded in April 1974 and is the largest privately held company in the world. We have offices in over 50 countries and more than 2000 employees worldwide.
We are a diversified natural resources group with world-wide interests in mining, smelting, refining, processing and trading of metals and minerals, coal, oil, gas and agricultural products.
Glencore is engaged in the physical trading of commodities, purchasing from producers and selling and delivering to industrial consumers such as refineries, automobile manufacturers, steel mills, public utilities and flour mills. These activities are supported by substantial strategic investments in industrial assets relating to the core physical trading business.
Glencore is a major producer and smelter of zinc, copper and ferro-alloys as well as mining coal and coke. We have upstream investments in oil production and refining and substantial shareholdings in related companies such as Rusal and Xstrata.

We are looking for highly talented, motivated and ambitious individuals with good academic credentials who can flourish within our business and who wish to develop their careers in risk management, physical operations, logistics, physical and paper trading or finance.

Training will be a series of real jobs, learning skills from senior colleagues and graduates will have a high visibility within the business from the outset.
